Nomadic Fiori

The story behind the brand...

When I was young, I had someone tell me that I had the curse of the ‘dreamers’ disease.’ The funny thing is, I never actually saw this as a curse. In fact, I come from a long linage of strong women with ‘stage 5 dreamers’ disease.’

These women have dreamed, manifested, and executed their dreams for generations before me and, to this day, are my biggest inspiration in life. So yes, I suppose I have inherited the gift of the dreamers’ disease.

Many of my dreams are organic in nature. Like, living that hippy life, off the grind in a completely self-sustainable little log home with acres of forest trails, or travelling and visiting all four-corners of the world and immersing myself in different cultures, landscapes, amazing people and food… or retrofitting a school bus and living that care-free van life on a beach somewhere (IYKYK!) But, as you can see, many of my daydreams are contradictory.

For a long time, I aspired to be the type of person who know exactly who they wanted to be in life and followed a linear path until they achieved their dreams… but eventually I resolved myself to the fact that, that type of thinking is impossible for my brain. I resolved myself to the fact that my heart and my mind are nomadic.

So, the other night I was laying in bed after a long day at Bella Sera Farm tending to our seedlings and spring bulbs, dreaming of being able to soon share the joy of our locally grown flowers with the world… and it hit me! NOMADIC FIORI. A more concise name for the wandering flower, just like my wandering and nomadic soul.

While Bella Sera Farm will always be stationary, Nomadic Fiori will be the side of the business that gets to wander and be nomadic; taking our flower journey in whichever direction it is needed. It will travel around to markets, pop up shops, and events, where we can share the joy and happiness that these flowers will bring to you!
